Chetan Makam leads Terumo Penpol as its Managing Director with accountability for the India operations and businesses. In addition, as Vice President, Global Services, Terumo BCT, Chetan leads a globally integrated service team encompassing all the post-sales customer facing functions, across 130 countries.

He brings over 25+ years of experience in the medical device/blood and cell / healthcare and other industries range from creating and running businesses, general management, strategic marketing, product management, sales and new business development, business process consulting, manufacturing, R&D and operations. Having worked in various parts of the world he brings a unique perspective and understanding of various cultures and people.

Chetan is a member of the Executive Team of Terumo BCT and is trained as a LEAN Six Sigma Master Blackbelt.

He has an MBA (cum laude) from Babson College, an M.S. in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a B.S. (Gold Medalist) in Polymer Engineering from the University of Poona, India.

Chetan is an avid reader and is an amateur numismatist and is based in Colorado.

Faith Chua

Director

Faith Chua is the Regional Controller of Terumo BCT in APAC, based in Singapore. She currently serves in the Board of Directors in Terumo BCT companies and is responsible for all finance support activities to the commercial team in APAC. She is a seasoned strategic finance business partner with more than 20 years of experience in various industries (Medical, Technology, Oil & Gas, Shipping). Strong in controllership, international taxation & finance transformation, she brings to the business knowledge and experience to respond to dynamic changes in the environment.

In her recent roles in Microsoft & Infineum, she had successfully led finance transformation through outsourcing, optimizing resources & process improvements.

Faith received a Bachelor degree in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and is a fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Sathish

Vice President – Manufacturing

As Vice President – Manufacturing, Sathish leads the blood bags, disposables and medical equipment manufacturing sites located at Thiruvananthapuram, India. He reports to Terumo BCT Inc. and a member of global operations team. Partners with other Terumo BCT manufacturing sites for the seamless implementation of operational excellence projects and cross-learning of the best practices.

Sathish is an experienced manufacturing professional with 30 years of experience in various industries (Life Sciences, High Performance materials, Speciality chemicals and automobiles) and expertise in the field of Operations, Project Management, Supply chain, Quality & Regulatory.

He is a strong believer of people transformation is the key to business transformation and drives an inclusive growth across the operations.

Sathish holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem and completed Executive General Management from IIM – Bangalore. He is a vivid traveler and likes to explore new places.
